Julia Ratcliffe (born July 14, 1993) is a Track and Field athlete who specialises in the Hammer Throw. She was born and lives in Hamilton, New Zealand and has dual citizenship of New Zealand and Britain. She has accepted an offer to study at Princeton University in the Fall of 2012.

Her last international competition was the Youth Olympic Games where she competed bravely with an ankle injury.

Other Sports

Julia has played Field Hockey for Waikato Diocesan School For Girls. In 2009 (27 goals) and 2011 she was the top goal scorer for the 1st XI team. This team has won the Premier Division of the Waikato Secondary Schools league for the last six years. She has also captained Waikato Hockey representative teams at three different age levels and was a member of the Waikato representative team that won the national under 14 tournament in 2005.
